Life Update
Most of my stress is gone now. I'm working on something too big to show anyone. I will return to dA when it's finished. Goodbye for now.
Okay, so my new account's still really empty.
And I'm still using this one for most of my comments on things. But I've spent the last couple of weeks focusing on some big creative endeavors, and one of them involved doing eight drawings which will never see the light of day. I wish I could show more off so people can see that I've actually improved. Oh well. All in due time.
My new account...
...is still under construction, but it's here: ~FollowMyGraphite (https://www.deviantart.com/followmygraphite)
If you know me, you'll know I'm late a lot, which was clear with how I was late to make this journal. It's a problem I'm working on fixing. One of the ways I'm doing that is that my new account will come with a few self-imposed rules. These include, but are not limited to:
:bulletred:At least one finished (ie inked, colored, with background) drawing per week, no exceptions. These will typically be small drawings, with larger ones every month or so. Roughly, my schedule will be:
-Sunday: Sketching
-Monday: Sketching/Scanning
-Tuesday: Inking
-Wednesday: Inking/
So... I may be making a new account.
Let's face it, I'm pretty bogged down under this name by my own bullshit. Complaining so often about my art, how bad it often is and how nobody seems to want to look at it gets pretty boring after a while, and I can't very well just get rid of it all. I never realized I had that much pessimism in me, and believe me, that is a prospect which is immensely frightening to me.
It's time for a change. I want to get a fresh start - something that will show people that I'm doing this because I want to create things, not because I want to be popular. No more static, lifeless drawings. No more boring, sketchy thumbnails. No more immature inconsistency
